Summary: Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. From the front desk staff at check in, to the cleaning lady that helped with a quick bathing suit strap issue, to the lifeguards who made sure one of our group felt comfortable after a particularly scary ride on the water slide. Everyone deserved high praise for their friendliness and professionalism. The water park was just the right size for our 10-year-old who went up and down the water slides more times than they can count and we all enjoyed the wave pool. Our room was clean and the air conditioner was a big comfort with the really high temperatures outside. We have been to Niagara on many occasions, and were completely comfortable staying farther from the falls and Clifton Hill than other hotels. All in all, I would recommend staying at the Americana if you are looking for a family getaway.

Summary: The location is excellent, just a short drive from Clifton Hill. The indoor water park is nice, but much smaller than expected. Don't come here expecting Great Wolf Lodge, because their water park is like a miniature version of GWL.

Summary: We had an amazing time during our stay, very family-friendly and clean hotel. The kids will have a blast and so will the parents, its fun for everyone! We will be back soon for sure.

Summary: We had a generally comfortable stay at Americana, but there were a couple of significant letdowns that affected our experience. First, the pool hours are too limited. The pool closes at 9 pm, which is quite early, especially for guests who spend the day exploring Niagara and return in the evening hoping to relax. During our 3-day stay, we were only able to use the pool for about 20 minutes total due to this constraint. Extending pool hours to at least 10 pm would make a big difference. Second, the WiFi in our room was extremely poor. For the entire duration of our stay, the connection was either very slow or completely unavailable. When we raised the issue with the front desk, we were told that it was due to "many people using the service" — which is not a valid excuse. A hotel should be equipped to handle full occupancy without compromising on basic services like internet. Also, we expected a Wego bus shuttle stop nearby for convenient transportation, but none was accessible. This made getting around more difficult and added extra cost and hassle to our trip. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves these areas. Guests expect reliable amenities and reasonable access times when booking a resort.

Summary: Was a perfect little getaway for me and my family. Lots to do in Niagara. The resort had a decent waterpark for our toddler to enjoy. The ROKU tv gave us issues however the tech quickly came and the hotel resolved the issue with fair compensation. Breakfast was solid at the onsite restaurant.

Summary: The room is outdated but comes with coffee machine, fridge, microwave and two sinks. These are super helpful when traveling with kids. All staff are friendly and responsive to any requests. The kids also have lots of fun with the waterpark.
